# Agila Open Tools
Public developer tools that can be used to build software for Agila and Agila Linux without exposing the proprietary Agila operating-system implementation.
## Included
- `tools/gen_font.py` — generates compact bitmap-font data from locally installed fonts.
- `tools/fv/fv` — lightweight Flying V command wrapper.
- `tools/ct-ng-mingw/.config` — cross-toolchain configuration starting point.
- `tools/v/` — third-party V language source distribution, with binaries and embedded Git history removed.
## Deliberately excluded
- Agila kernel interrupt/IDT generators.
- Kernel, scheduler, security, runtime, and hardware-policy implementation code.
- Precompiled V executables and platform-specific binaries.
- Bundled package-manager archives whose provenance/version could not be verified from this package alone.
- Credentials, deployment files, private keys, and internal repository metadata.
## Getting started
Run:
```sh
./bootstrap.sh
./verify.sh
```
The bootstrap script does not install system packages automatically. It reports the tools required for the selected components.
## Licensing
Each third-party component remains under its original license. See `THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md` and `licenses/`.
Agila names and logos are not granted for use as a competing operating-system identity.
