- [ ] Start from this clean directory, not the private repository history.
- [ ] Confirm no private units or internal notes are present.
- [ ] Run a secret scanner against files and Git history.
- [ ] Run `make test`.
- [ ] Confirm the copyright owner and license choice.
- [ ] Add only public screenshots, logos, and assets.
- [ ] Tag the release, for example `v0.1.0-alpha`.
