Use Forge to keep your code, show how it works, and learn from review. Flying V is Agila's application language; Ada supports the systems-engineering learning path.
Write down one user, one problem, and a small outcome you can test. A learning project could be an SDK lifecycle example, a UI description, or an Ada validation function.
Read the Agila SDK and its public/private boundaries. The public SDK is a learning sandbox, not the complete Agila OS runtime.
Ask the Agila administrator for a Forge account, enable two-factor authentication, then create a repository. Use a clear name, add a README, select the appropriate .gitignore, and choose a license whose terms you understand. University and Forge accounts are separate.
Copy the clone URL from your repository's Code menu. Keep the generated URL intact, including its host and port.
git clone <your-repository-clone-url>
cd <your-repository-name>
git switch -c first-experiment
# Add or edit your source files.
git add README.md src/
git commit -m "Add first experiment and explanation"
git push -u origin first-experimentUse HTTPS to clone and push. For authenticated Git access, create a scoped access token in your account settings and use it as the Git password. Keep the token private and revoke it when it is no longer needed.
If your project begins as a ZIP, extract it locally, inspect its contents, and copy the source into your cloned repository. Avoid uploading credentials, generated binaries, or private OS implementation.
Your README should answer:
Start with the English, Tagalog, and Bisaya lesson examples, or explore SDK examples in open_agila_sdk. Consult agila_open_tool for the toolchain and its setup instructions.
Open a pull request from your branch. Describe the problem, the behavior after your change, and your tests. Ask reviewers to challenge assumptions and look at edge cases.
Respond to feedback with another focused commit. A passing demonstration is useful evidence; it does not replace reading and testing the code.
For a University project, submit the Forge repository URL with your design explanation, test evidence, and AI-review notes. The lesson checks grade your answers automatically, issue a completion certificate after each passed lesson, and point you to the next step. Your project is a personal portfolio record; learning does not require a mentor.
